At BedBugNinja we are the only company south of Calgary that offers such a heat treatment. We have multiple certified heat technicians and professionals. Heat treatment is the only proper way to get rid of your bed bug problem for sure. Sure sprays and chemicals can help, but they don't work in the same way our treatments work. Bed bugs will die once they have reached and internal temperature of over 135 degrees fahrenheit for over 90 minutes. Our job is to bring our equipment in, bring your houses temperature up to 145-150 degrees monitor the temperature throughout the job, and let it sit for 2 hours to ensure no bugs are left. once we are finished we go around with a pet and human friendly bug spray, and leave traps around to monitor the coming weeks.

What can you do to ensure our process goes smoothly?

The first thing anyone can do before we do a job is to unplug any electronics, remove pets and humans our of the house, and take anything that could be damaged to excessive heat. Than remove any outlet covers and light covers to allow heat to diffuse into the drywall. We recommend you bring a freshly cleaned and folded outfit in a ziplock bag to switch into once you leave the home. Take your old clothes and bring them to a dry cleaner and run it on high heat. Once the treatment is over we will call you when it is safe to return. Its still fairly hot so we suggest opening windows and doors to let the heat out. we will than check in the coming weeks to ensure you are still problem free.
